     Plano-convex lenses, with one convex side and one flat side, have a positive focal length and are commonly used in applications such as beam reduction, focal length beam reduction, or image magnification. To reduce spherical aberration, plano-convex lenses are used to focus collimated beams so that the beam is incident on a curved surface. When used to collimate point light sources, the beam is incident on a flat surface. Tuniu offers lenses using N-BK7, a common substrate used in visible and near-infrared applications.
