l Silicon Dioxide Protective Layer
l Operating Wavelength: 800 nm-20.0 μm
l Beam Focusing, Collimation, Collection and Imaging
Tuniu metal-coated concave mirrors use Borofloat 33 substrates, with a metal coating (gold coating, with protective layer) applied to the concave surface. This reflective coating offers high reflectivity (Ravg > 96%) within the wavelength range of 800 nm to 20 μm, making it suitable for beam collimation, focusing, and imaging without introducing chromatic aberration. Metal coatings are prone to oxidation, discoloration, or peeling in high-humidity environments. The SiO₂ protective layer isolates the metal coating from direct contact with air, preventing oxidation and preserving optical performance. Currently, Tuniu offers gold-coated concave mirrors in a 1-inch diameter with a center thickness of 6.0 mm, available in seven focal lengths ranging from -25 mm to -500 mm. In addition to standard products, Tuniu also provides customization services for size, focal length, and operating wavelength. For inquiries, please contact Tuniu Technical Support.
Metal-coated concave mirror, gold coating: 800 nm-20.0 μm
Tuniu's gold-coated concave mirrors offer high reflectivity (Ravg > 96%) across the wavelength range of 800 nm to 20 μm, making them highly suitable for collimating, focusing, and imaging infrared beams without introducing chromatic aberration. These mirrors are available in a one-inch size with seven focal lengths ranging from -25 mm to -500 mm and can be used with mirror mounts. Although the metal-coated concave mirrors are protected with a coating, it is recommended to use and store them in low-humidity, room-temperature environments. When handling the mirrors, wear protective products such as latex gloves or finger cots to prevent contamination of the optical surface by oils and residues from fingers.
